With the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and as part of the ongoing nationwide distribution of humanitarian assistance, the Azizi Charity Foundation, in cooperation with Azizi Bank and the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan, has continued the distribution of food packages to 20,000 needy families across the country.
In the latest phase of this program, hundreds of vulnerable families in Kabul city benefited from these humanitarian aid packages.
The distribution took place on Tuesday (2026 ) in Kabul, where officials of the Azizi Charity Foundation emphasized that the main objective of the initiative is to support vulnerable families and reduce part of their economic difficulties during the holy month of Ramadan.
According to the organizers, the packages include essential food items that can help meet the basic needs of families during the fasting days.
Officials of the Azizi Charity Foundation, referring to the difficult economic conditions in the country, stated that solidarity and cooperation between economic institutions and charitable organizations can play an important role in reducing livelihood pressures on low-income communities.
They added that the program is part of a broader support initiative implemented in various provinces of the country, and Kabul has also been covered under this framework.
Meanwhile, some of the beneficiary families expressed their gratitude for the assistance, saying that such programs during Ramadan can help ease some of their concerns regarding food supplies.
They believe that the continuation of such support is of great importance for underprivileged families.
The Azizi Charity Foundation has announced that the distribution of Ramadan assistance will continue, and efforts are being made to ensure that the aid reaches the genuine beneficiaries in a transparent and organized manner. The foundation emphasized that strengthening the spirit of solidarity and social participation during the holy month of Ramadan is one of the key goals of the program and expressed hope that, through cooperation with partner institutions, it can play an effective role in reducing the hardships faced by vulnerable communities.
In previous years, the Azizi Charity Foundation has also launched several support programs for needy families in different provinces of Afghanistan during Ramadan and other occasions.
These assistance efforts usually include food packages and other essential items, distributed in cooperation with financial and economic institutions with the aim of reducing economic pressure on vulnerable groups.
