Fasihuddin Fitrat, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of National Defense, said on Sunday (September 21) during a graduation ceremony of pilots from a training course at the Air Force University of the Ministry of National Defense, in reaction to Donald Trump’s remarks, that the Islamic Emirate will not accept the slightest deal over the reclaiming of Bagram.

He emphasized: “We will never make deals over the land of the country, and we will not give the enemies the smallest opportunity.”

Mr. Fitrat also added: “It is impossible for Bagram to be negotiated again; Afghanistan is an independent and free country, administered by its own sons, and we have no deals with any foreign nation in this regard.”

He further stressed: “For the Islamic Emirate, it is in no way acceptable that foreigners rule over us.”
