The Fatema Charity Foundation has donated a valuable package of advanced medical equipment to the Farah Provincial Hospital, including 10 incubator machines and 4 phototherapy devices. The equipment was officially handed over in the presence of provincial health officials and hospital representatives.
Mula Din Mohammad Abdulhaq, Deputy Director of Public Health in Farah Province, expressed gratitude for this philanthropic initiative, describing the foundation’s contribution as a significant step toward improving medical services for newborns and children.
“These devices will play a vital role in treating infants, especially in cases of premature birth and jaundice. With their use, the existing challenges in pediatric care will be considerably reduced,” he said. Abdulhaq also urged other charitable organizations to continue similar support in enhancing healthcare services across Farah.
This assistance comes at a time when the demand for modern medical equipment remains critical in many healthcare centers across Afghanistan, including Farah.
